Brooklyn Botanic Garden Guides
Sometimes you need a gardening resource that is a quick read, providing distilled information that is useful, interesting, and well-written. Brooklyn Botanic Garden (BBG) has excelled in publishing such books in the form of their garden guides.
Over the years, BBG has published several dozen Garden Guides on topics ranging from Native Plants for Tough Spaces, to The Wildlife Gardener’s Guide to The Gardener’s Guide to Healthy Soil. Each book is packed with information, written by experts in their fields.
At a price of $12.95 or less, with many older guides available for even less on Amazon.com, they are an excellent investment. I own quite a few of these guides and have never been disappointed in the quality of information, succinctly packaged so I can learn exactly what I need to know in an evening’s reading. Each guide provides just enough information to enlighten you about a certain gardening topic and arms you with enough information so that you can implement your new knowledge.
